How to Build Community

Poster from Syracuse Cultural Workers (excerpt)

It’s summer. It’s been over 90 degrees here in Santa Fe every day for the past two weeks. The humidity got up to a whopping 8% today. We haven’t had rain for three weeks.

My brain cells are toast.

Now I understand why the TV shows of my youth played re-runs all summer long. No one can muster up the energy in this kind of weather to churn out new creations each week. At least I can’t.

So…. this week’s short and sweet post is actually a benevolent stealing of a great piece of art from a fantastic group of people, the Syracuse Cultural Workers. It’s a wonderful reminder that community has the power to liberate us from our false notions of separation and isolation. Enjoy the full version of it, below! (If you’re interested in purchasing this poster, check out their website.)

P.S. This is also the last call for registration for my new e-course, Fall in Love with Your Work: A 30-Day Adventure. The course starts on July 1st and registration ends this Saturday, June 30th. If you’ve been thinking about signing up, now’s the time to do it!
