Freedom Friday: Resources to Support a Liberated Life
The Liberated Life Project is launching a new feature this week. Every Friday, I’ll share this resource round-up of news, events, and articles to nourish and inspire you. If you have suggestions to share with other LLP readers, please do post in the comment section below.

How to Practice Forgiveness
Hanging on to anger and resentment is one of the most limiting things we can do to ourselves. Tammy Strobel wrote this beautiful piece on her blog, Rowdy Kittens, which includes some very practical ideas about how to find your way to forgiveness.

Scholarship opportunities for women 40 and over from the AARP
Thinking of going back to school? Last year, the American Association of Retired People (AARP) gave more than $450,000 in educational scholarships to 200 women nationwide. They’re doing it again this year. If you’re interested, check out this link and apply before March 31.
Relationships
How to Be a Love Ninja
In this great post that came out for Valentine’s Day, Susan Piver offers some suggestions for ways to think really BIG about the meaning of love and relationships. Don’t miss this one.
“Heart to Heart: The Importance of Freedom and Commitment in Intimate Relationships”
This is a wonderful article on relationships by Tibetan Buddhist teacher Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche.
The World We Live In
Learn How to Be an Ambassador for Peace
The Shift Network, which organizes some fantastic events around peace and social transformation, is hosting a free live call this Saturday, Feb 19, with James O’Dea on “Becoming a Peace Ambassador.” O’Dea served as Director of Amnesty International, Washington DC, and President of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, and has engaged in front-line social healing dialogues with Israelis and Palestinians, as well as Rwandan genocide survivors. Sign up here to listen to the call live or to hear a recorded download.
Help Afghan Women
Yoga teacher and change-maker Marianne Elliot points us to this petition to support the women of Afghanistan, where the Afghan government plans to take over all women’s shelters in the country within weeks. Taking a moment to sign the petition could help protect the human rights of thousands of women in that country.
Elephants…
A number of you have asked me what it was like to spend time with elephants in Thailand last month. Please see this post I wrote on my other blog, The Jizo Chronicles, which includes some ways you can help the elephants.
