Spirit

Learn How to Meditate
Susan Piver’s Open Heart Project continues to be a wonderful way to learn how to meditate right in your own home with a gifted teacher (Susan is trained in the Shambhala tradition). The project has a new look with a re-designed website, and there are more ways to participate. Check it out: http://susanpiver.com/open-heart-project/

What Do You Take Refuge In?
Sandra Pawula of Always Well Within recently posted this beautiful essay that will really get you thinking about where you place your trust and your energy. She makes the distinction between taking refuge in dysfunctional ways (such as food addictions) and helps us to understand what we truly can rely upon.

Fall in Love with Your Work
Registration is now open for the first-ever Liberated Life Project online course! “Fall in Love with Your Work: A 30-Day Adventure,” starting July 1, is based on the fundamental principle of the LLP: Freedom is an inside job. The course will give you the inner tools to align your core purpose with your work, and help walk you through the steps to make that happen in your life. I’m really excited about it and hope you’ll consider signing up! More info here: http://liberatedlifeproject.com/resources/courses/livelihood/

Creativity

Spark Your Creativity
This book is on my summer reading list: The War of Art: Winning the Inner Creative Battle by Steven Pressfield. It’s gotten rave review from people whose opinions I respect. According to The Library Journal, the book’s focus is “on combating resistance and living the destiny that Pressfield believes is gifted to each person.”

The World We Live In

The Beauty of Interconnection
The Global Oneness Project produces some gorgeous short films that powerfully communicate the truth of our interconnection. The next time you have 25 minutes and want to be incredibly inspired, watch “What Would It Look Like,” a film that explores the question: As the structures of modern society crumble, where do we find solutions that can help us build the future that serves us all?
