Most Fridays, I put together this ‘resource round-up’ of news, events, and articles that I hope will nourish and inspire, and support you in living a liberated life. If you have suggestions to share with other readers, please do post in the comment section.

Practice Yoga in Your Home
Marianne Elliott’s “30 Days of Yoga” home course is perfect if you’ve been trying to figure out a way to bring more yoga into your life but it’s hard to commit to going out to classes. Marianne’s Zen Peacekeeper website features her writing and other work, and I really appreciate the way that she weaves together spiritual practice with social concerns.

Something Really Beautiful…
If you need to get some perspective on your place in the universe, take a moment to watch this amazing timelapse video of the Perseid Meteor Shower and the galactic core of the Milky Way: Joshua Tree Under the Milky Way from Henry Jun Wah Lee.

How To Save Money on Phone Calls
I don’t know about you, but each month I end up sending a good chunk of my money to the phone company. I’ve been feeling the need to re-evaluate that so  I can continue to save money and build my own Freedom Fund. That’s why I was grateful to find this list of ways to make free phone calls online, from the blog DoughRoller. I hope you find it useful too.

The World We Live In

A Must-Read from Margaret Wheatley
This book is going on my reading list right away! A new title from Margaret Wheatley, whose writing and work I deeply respect: Walk Out Walk On: A Learning Journey Into Communities Daring to Live the Future Now. Here’s the description from the publisher: “At a time when most communities’ resources are stretched past the breaking point, how is it possible to deal with the enormous challenges that families, neighborhoods, cities, regions, and nations face today? This inspiring book takes readers to seven communities around the world where the people have walked out of limiting beliefs and practices that precluded solutions to major social problems, and walked on to discover bold new ways to meet their needs.”
