Freedom Friday: 3/25 Resource Round-Up
Every Friday, I put together this ‘resource round-up’ of news, events, and articles that I hope will nourish and inspire you. If you have suggestions to share with other Liberated Life Project readers, please do post in the comment section.

How to Meditate? Help Is On The Way!
Shambhala Buddhist teacher Susan Piver has put together a 10-minute video of basic instructions for meditation practice. If you’ve never meditated before or are just beginning, this is a great way to start your practice.

Fly Free, Faster!
You know I’m a big fan of travel if you’ve read some of my earlier posts. If you love to travel and want to do more of it, I’ve got a recommendation for you. Even if you just fly once or twice a year, the information in Chris Guillebeau’s “Frequent Flyer Master” can help you to learn enough tricks to increase your mileage rewards and earn a free flight. All of Chris’ “Unconventional Guide” products are high quality and come with a great guarantee. If you want more adventure in your life on a shoestring budget, this is definitely worth checking out.
Win a Trip to New Orleans
Speaking of travel, how would you like to win a weekend in NOLA plus registration for one of the best blogging conferences — the Mom 2.0 Summit? I came across this contest sponsored by California Black Ripe Olives, of all things. I happen to already be signed up for Mom 2.0, otherwise I’d enter – but you can! And I’d love to meet you in New Orleans if you win. Contest deadline is March 29, so hurry…

How to Find a Moment of Peace
Lisa, creator of the blog Life Unity and a self-described “awareness artist,” has written a beautiful post called “Too Much” on the importance of taking a pause and waking up to the beauty that is around is in every moment. I encourage you to read her words slowly and really let them sink in. It’s always a gift to find nourishing posts like this in the vast expanse of the Internet.
The World We Live In
What Are The Bees Telling Us?
Honey bees are essential players in the world we live in… that was something I found out only by watching Queen of the Sun, a fantastic documentary about bees, the humans who love them, and what’s going on that’s endangering their existence. I saw Queen of the Sun a year ago when the director was giving special preview showings, and loved it. Starting this weekend, March 25, it will screen at theaters in a number of cities and towns across the U.S. – for the complete list, click here. I highly recommend this movie… it’s uplifting and informative, and the beautiful soundtrack is from my friend, cellist Jami Sieber.
