“Waking Up” Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in “Waking Up to Your Life.” Please take time to read these “Terms and Conditions” before you register, and don’t hesitate to contact me (maia [at] maiaduerr [dot] com) if anything is unclear to you.

——

By registering for “Waking Up to Your Life” (the “Program”) with Maia Duerr, (the “Organizer”), I (the “Client”) agree to these terms and conditions. If I have objections to the following Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”), I understand I should not sign up for this program.

1. Registration Fees

a. Payment. Payment of the applicable fees for the Program is due in full in accordance with the payment plan I selected. If such payment is insufficient or declined for any reason, Organizer may refuse access to the Program and instructors and will have no liability in that regard.
b. Taxes. The fees may be subject sales tax, value added tax, or any other taxes and duties which, if applicable, will be charged to me in addition to the fees.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

Because we want to encourage you to fully commit yourself to this Program, no refunds are available after you register. Should you find that you are not able to fully participate in the Program once it has started, you have the one-time opportunity to repeat the Program the next time it is offered at no additional charge. Please note that this option applies only to the base fee for the Program [the “Core Version” which includes Program email lessons, materials, group coaching calls, and  access to the private Facebook group]. If you wish to add on individual support calls, these are subject to an additional fee.

3. Content

All intellectual property rights in and to the Program, the Program content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Program are owned by the Organizer and her partners. I understand that I may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any material appearing in the Program without the prior written permission of the Organizer.

4. No Professional Advice Disclaimer

The information contained in or made available by the Organizer or any third party through the Program or their websites or services cannot replace or substitute for the services of trained professionals in any field, including, but not limited to, mental, financial, medical, psychological, or legal fields. Organizer does not offer any professional, personal, medical, financial or legal advice and none of the information contained in the Program should be construed as such advice.

5. Privacy and Confidentiality

The Organizer promises to not share my email address with others. (Except with my express consent as part of an “introduction” or other connection facilitation I’ve requested.)

I understand that during the course of the Program, certain information of a confidential nature may be disclosed by the Organizer, which may include personal information. I will not intentionally disclose this confidential information to any third party or use the confidential information for my own benefit without specific permission of the Organizer.

6. Jurisdiction and Mediation

The laws of the State of New Mexico shall govern the validity of this Agreement, the construction of its terms, and the interpretation of the rights and duties of the parties to this Agreement. I agree that any dispute that arises out of or relates to this Agreement will be resolved via binding arbitration in the State of New Mexico in accordance with the policies set forth by the American Arbitration Association. If any of these Terms of use are found unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision will be considered severable from the remaining terms of use, and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

7. Other

I understand that the individual support calls offered in conjunction with the “Individual Support” option of the Program will have an expiration date of June 30, 2016. If I do not schedule my calls by that date, I forfeit the call/s.
